Some cards, some scrapbooking

Spring Break.  Ah!  Some people schedule vacations.  I adore just staying home.  I get caught up on things, like my backlogged Ali Edwards class videos. I get to craft!  It makes me realize that summer will be awesome and is just around the corner.

Here are some of the things I got to do:

I went on a scrapbooking store trip to The Paper Forest.  I had a gift card  from Santa, and some rewards from previous spending.  One of the many things I picked up was the Taylored Expressions set, Grown Up Grumplings.  Everything about this set made me laugh and made me think of so many friends for whom I can make cards from this.  I started with this simple one for a buddy who has three girls ranging from ages 12 to 2.  She has an abundance of laundry to keep her busy.

Here's the inside

I also got caught up with some scrapbook entries from my One Little Word album.  February was supposed to be a "practice" focus.

March was about using magazines/images/words to create a vision board.  Ali suggested using a canvas, but I stuck to keeping it in the scrapbook.  Actual size was 8 x 12.
This page held one of the cutouts I could not fit on the other layout.  It introduces what is bout to come.  The flair was in one of Ali's recent kits.  (It's supposed to say "March's prompt," but I wrote February...and life goes on...)
I really dig how this turned out.  Click on it for a larger view.
